Introduction

HWW Pty Limited has adopted the following management guidelines to assure our commitment to your privacy. These guidelines disclose the information gathering and dissemination policies for the HWW network of websites ("HWW Websites"). The guidelines have been developed with particular attention to the ten National Privacy Principles that the December 2001 private sector amendments to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 contain.

Collection

HWW Pty Limited collects data in order to provide content, products and services to our website users and to execute statistical analysis for development purposes.

Server log

HWW Pty Limited may perform statistical analysis of user behaviour in order to measure interest in the various areas of the website for developmental purposes. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. No attempt is made to identify users or their browsing activities except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the internet web server logs.

Many of the web sites owned and operated by HWW use cookies. Cookies are pieces of information that a website can transfer to an individual's computer hard drive for tracking (site usage) user navigation and customising site information to further improve the user experience. This will enable you to take full advantage of the services that HWW and its affiliate sites offer. The use of cookies is an industry standard and you'll find most major websites use them. HWW Pty Limited does not store any of this data in any format on our servers - the cookie lives on your PC. You can remove the cookie by;

Registration

Voluntary registration on applicable HWW websites requires you to supply your email address. This information is not stored with, nor is there any attempt made to link this information with any other personal information. We use this information to provide you with the requested information. HWW Pty Limited intends this correspondence to be informative, useful and helpful for you and attempts to ensure the value of any advertising material contained within. Any correspondence contains instructions for how to remove your details from the receivers list.

Email Enquiry

Email enquiry requires you to supply your email address. This information is not stored with, nor is there any attempt made to link this information with any other personal information. We use this information to provide you with an accurate and prompt response.

Use and Disclosure

HWW Pty Limited does not use or disclose personal information in any manner inconsistent to that stated in this document without prior consent.

Onward Transfers of Personal Information

In the rare case that HWW Pty Limited forwards personal information to a third party we have in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the information.

HWW Pty Limited does not use identifiers (such as a Tax File Number) that any government agency has assigned to a person, for the purpose of identifying that person. HWW Pty Limited does not disclose such identifiers to any third party unless required by law or in the public interest.

Anonymity

You have the option to remain anonymous when liaising with HWW Pty Limited, except in the case of engaging in a financial transaction with us through any of our websites.

Advertising

HWW Pty Limited uses third party ad servers that may collect anonymous data such as server address, operating system, the date and time of the visit, pages accessed and the type of browser used. This data is used to profile our audience in order to provide relevant targeted advertising. A third party ad server may place a cookie on your PC to store a profile of your interests. If the third party ad server collects this information it is not linked to personal information and is used on an aggregated basis to measure audience.
