30 Rock star Tracy Morgan rushed to hospital after collapse

If this were an episode of 30 Rock the cause would be something wild and crazy like over-indulging in a hotdog-eating content or accidentally inhaling a toxic gas, but real life is way more boring: it was just altitude sickness.

"Superman ran into a little kryptonite," Tracy tweeted. "The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn."

Tracy's publicist confirmed that he had been taken to the Park City Medical Center for treatment, but denied early reports claiming the actor had to be hospitalised because he'd drunk too much.

Tracy thanked the hospital staff who helped him, adding that he's heading straight back to work on 30 Rock.
