Former sex symbol Erik was chatting en Espanol to a TV presenter at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards when she asked him about how he prepared for the ceremony.
The 62-year-old joked that he'd changed his hair colour — then adjusted his hairpiece on camera, shocking the presenter.
"I do it to scare people," said Estrada with a laugh.
Oh well. At least he's honest about his hair loss — and his fake 'do doesn't look as weird as fellow baldie Jason Alexander's.
