Damages renewed for two more seasons
Glenn Close's legal thriller Damages has been rescued from TV oblivion: it'll be back for two more seasons, each comprising 10 episodes.

The series is beloved by critics but largely ignored by viewers, and its low ratings brought it thisclose to cancellation — until was saved by US satellite broadcaster DirecTV (which also recently saved Friday Night Lights, another low-rating but critically acclaimed series).

Damages recently picked up a whole bunch of Emmy nominations, including nods for Close and her Australian co-star Rose Byrne.
