America's Next Top Model All-Stars winner Lisa D'Amato is recovering from a severe fall that left her with a nasty "nose smashing".
"Well I can't hide this ... I got dropped during a gymnastic move with my partner. C'est la vie," Lisa tweeted earlier this week.
Partying at a hotel in Colorado after wrapping shooting on indie flick Cowboys and Indians, the 32-year-old was doing a handstand up against a crew member when things suddenly got ugly and the two fell, smashing Lisa's nose into the ground as the crew member landed on top of her.
"We were just kind of monkeying around," she told People.
"It was a totally freak accident … It wasn't like we were doing back flips off the balcony."
After crushing her nose and scraping her face, Lisa was rushed to hospital where she went under the knife at the hands of a plastic surgeon.
"I didn't have the best nose in the world to begin with. It gave me character," she jokes. "Now I have a nice little nose job. I get a super-cute nose."
Since the accident, the multi-talented model, who rose to fame after being discovered by Tyra Banks, has been updating fans via instagram, Facebook and Twitter with progress of her healing.
After marrying long-time boyfriend Adam Friedman in September, Lisa is planning to leave for her honeymoon next month, followed by a television pilot next month.
