From waves to airwaves: Swim star Steph Rice ditches the pool for TV gig

Olympic gold medalist Stephanie Rice has signed a two-year deal with Nine Network's Today Show to be a health and fitness reporter.

"It's not every day you have a multiple Olympic gold medalist join your team. And I don't think the early mornings will be a problem for her after years in the pool," he said.

Stephanie's extensive Olympic nutrition and exercise training will certainly come in handy with her new position outside of the pool.
