Despite supplying us with more awkward facial expression memes to last a lifetime, X Factor USA judge Britney Spears might be booted off the show for being “too boring”.
After shelving out $15 million to land the 31-year-old pop legend on his hit show, big boss Simon Cowell is reportedly not happy with her performance.
He wanted “crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney”, a source told US Weekly.
But Simon is keeping mum on the subject, telling E!, “I don't know yet, to be honest with you. I haven't had the conversation with her whether she'd want to, what other commitments she's got”.
X Factor has already lost one cast member this season. Long-standing judge LA Reid announced his departure to focus on his record label, and there has been no word on whether teen dream Demi Lovato will also be playing musical chairs.
So is a whole new judging panel on the cards for 2013?
We wouldn’t put it past ruthless Simon, but we will certainly miss Britney’s hilarious faces .
