Judges bicker on talent shows all the time, but trust us, you've never seen it like this before.
Nicki Minaj has lashed out at Mariah Carey in an expletive-ridden tirade on the set of American Idol.
"I told them, I'm not f---ing putting up with her f---ing highness over there," the rapper shouted.
In the video above, Aussie country crooner Keith Urban can be seen seated between the two ladies, trying (unsuccessfully) to keep the peace.
According to TMZ, Nicki later threatened to "knock out" Mariah.
The clash was so potent that producers had to call off auditions for the day so that the judges could cool off.
Initial reports suggested that the two divas were "at each other's throats", but the pair publicly maintained there was no feud.
Even as recently as right before this footage was recorded, Nicki told Jackie O that she wasn't fazed about working with Mariah because the pair had worked together before.
"I had so much genuine love for her and respect for her, I was shocked hearing the rumours as well," Nicki said.
"We're there to help someone else become a superstar, I think if we disagree on the judging panel, then we disagree on the judging panel, it's not something that's going to bleed into our regular lives, we don't take it home with us."
There are now serious doubts over whether Mariah and Nicki can work together for the entire season.
