Revealed: Honey Boo Boo's secret family recipe for 'sketti'

Cheetos and Mountain Dew are the Thomsons' preferred staple diet, but the lovable redneck reality TV family have a taste for good old fashioned home-style cooking, too.

In the latest episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Mama June shares her secret recipe for "sketti" — a family favourite consisting of butter and ketchup heated in the microwave and stirred through spaghetti.

Mmm-mm!

"The kids like the ketchup and butter and I was raised on the ketchup and butter mix," says Mama June Shannon, an "extreme couponer" who feeds her family of six on $80 a week.

Mama and three of her four daughters have been on a diet since the show began (17-year-old Chickadee is exempt because she's pregnant). The family members weigh-in on each episode but have so far only managed to lose a few pounds between them.
