'She understands what drag is': RuPaul asks Honey Boo Boo to duet with him

Drag queen RuPaul has described child beauty pageant queen Honey Boo Boo Child as his "reason for living" and he's calling on the seven-year-old reality star to join him for a glitzy musical collaboration.

"I'm doing a duet record and I’m here to ask Honey Boo Boo Child to be my partner," RuPaul told E! News. "I love anybody who dances to the beat of a different drummer."

The RuPaul's Drag Race star says he has a lot in common with his pint-sized idol.

"She is the queen. She understands what drag is. That's what pageants are. That's why pageants are so lovely," he said.

He later tweeted, "She is my reason for living."

Honey Boo Boo is known for her love of gay culture. She affectionately refers to gay men as "poodles" and she officially outed her pet pig "Glitzy" on an early episode of her TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
