It looks like new X Factor US judge Demi Lovato might be too much for Simon Cowell to handle.
In a clip released before the revamped talent show's American premiere later this week, Simon defers to Demi for her opinion on a contestant, knowing full well that her mouth is... well, full.
"I have, like, 12 mints in my mouth," Demi says.
Before Simon can offer a witty comment, Demi grabs his hand and spits the mints out into it.
"Really, really grown up, Demi," Cowell says. "You're an obnoxious little brat."
Demi might want to clean up her act in front of her boss. According to an unofficial biography written by Tom Bower, Simon "suffered a breakdown" recently as he struggled with his many television commitments in the US and the UK.
"I don't want any more tablets and pills. I'm cutting out the lot, including cigarettes," Simon reportedly told friend and X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh.
"I desperately need peace. I'm craving normality. I've got to work out my demons and come out of it."
