June Shannon, mother of seven-year-old beauty pageant queen Honey Boo Boo, is gaining massive popularity with the Toddlers and Tiaras reality spin-off, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Child.
But Kris is so not a fan of the Southern head of the Thompson household, who advised her daughters to "fart 12 to 15 times a day to lose weight".
"To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement," a source told Radar Online.
"She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can’t understand why America is so fascinated by them. The show has become bigger than Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success."
The 56-year-old mum of Kim and co reportedly has an issue with June trying to make a buck out of her teensy-tiny beauty queen kid.
"Kris think it's all a ploy to make money, and says she sees through it and thinks it is absolutely disgusting," Radar's source claimed.
That doesn't sound familiar, does it? You know, a strong-willed mother scheming to make her daughters famous at any cost …
Unlike the Kardashians, who scored a $40 million three-season deal earlier this year, the Thompsons make an estimated $4000 per episode for a ten-episode season (do the maths, $40,000 all up), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
But June kept mum on the actual figure when TMZ asked her to verify a rumour that the family earned only $4000 per episode.
"When we spoke to June she laughed out loud at the report, saying it was wrong, making it clear her family is raking in a good deal more," TMZ reported on Wednesday.
But June shares the same sense of family as Kris.
"We're making memories to last a lifetime," June told TMZ.
June is defiant against the haters who think her family is trailer trash.
"For every person that's hating on us, there's three people that love us," June told TMZ.
Someone get Kris and June's people to arrange a lunch date, please. They can trade their daughters' bikini secrets!
