Charne had a "gut feeling" she would either be the first or the last person to leave the Big Brother house, and she was right about being the first to go.

But the 31-year-old Gold Coast singer says she takes it as a big compliment that she was evicted so soon.

"Australians have a habit of kicking out the most interesting people first," she tells TheFIX.

"People who don't conform to the so-called normality of the world, we're the ones who get pushed aside unfortunately. But that's the way it goes."

A cabaret singer who suffers from OCD, Charne admits that her personality was probably "too big" for her housemates to handle.

"The boys — and a couple of the girls — were intimidated by me, a bit scared off," she says.

But Charne isn't looking back. Next up: we might even be seeing her on The Voice.

The seasoned singer admits she's thinking about auditioning for season two of the Aussie talent show, "but I don't want to be seen as this reality show junkie," she adds.
