According to reports, Keith tops a list of stars being headhunted for the US talent show, which has already signed Mariah Carey as "head judge".
Country music star Reba McEntire turned down a role on the show, making Keith the rumoured hot favourite thanks to the success of his role on The Voice.
It's not a done deal though. A source at the Nine Network tells us Keith and his co-stars Seal, Delta Goodrem and Joel Madden are all "keen" to return for the second series of The Voice later this year.
"We are in negotiation with all the coaches and won’t be responding about any of them at this point," a Nine Network spokesperson says. "They have all indicated they are keen to return for series two."
