Country girl Zoe revealed as first Big Brother housemate

The first Big Brother housemate for 2012 has been announced: Zoe, a 23-year-old student-teacher from Warren.

The reality TV revival shot its premiere episode on the Gold Coast last night and Zoe is currently inside the Big Brother compound with six other women and three men.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Zoe had remained tight-lipped about participating in the series, with her family and friends told she'd be attending classes at her Brisbane university.

The 1500 people in the audience were urged to keep the other housemates' identities secret before tonight's relaunch.

Big Brother returns at 7pm on the Nine Network.
