The Voice's judging line-up could have looked very different when the series debuted earlier this year! Turns out, pop superstar and honorary Aussie Pink was originally offered Delta Goodrem's spinning red chair.
"I was offered The Voice in Australia plus American Idol and The X Factor [in the US]," she told The Sun.
"I said no because you can't be honest. People will hate you if you're honest."
Pink has a reputation for being outspoken, sparking bitter feuds with Kanye West, Jessica Simpson and US Voice coach Christina Aguilera.
"People would just hate me more than they already do," she explained. "I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings."
And here we were thinking 14-month-old daughter Willow had softened her a little bit. Pink says she cries over parenting-related matters every day, petrified she'll do something wrong.
"I'm a perfectionist, I cry daily!" Pink confessed to Entertainment Tonight. "I'm glad though, that the two things that have gone wrong were Dad [Carey Hart]'s fault!"
"The first time anything bad happened he was like, 'Oh, I'm so glad it was me!'" she says. "I'm like, 'Me too! I'm going to cry anyway though.'"
