Isaac Brown, a six-year-old performer from St. Louis, wowed the judges and the crowd on America’s Got Talent this week, not only with his energetic performance but with his juvenile honesty and charming personality.
The passionate young singer/dancer performed the classic Jackson 5 song 'I Want You Back'. Is he the best singer in the world? No. Is he a phenomenal performer for his age? One very huge 'yes'.
"You're a superstar," said judge Howie Mandel, "let me tell you something. Part of being a performer is 'whole package'. You don't have to be the best singer. You don't have to be the best dancer."
Young Isaac cut off the judge by saying, "All that matters is you['re] coming from your heart, that's all I think that really matters."
Such wise words from someone so young.
The other judges were just as enthusiastic, Sharon Osbourne telling the young performer, "Very few people have star quality and you have it."
Finally the stern Howard Stern offered his appraisal. "I love you already and I just met you," he said.
Not many six-year-olds can say that Howard loves them.
Not surprisingly, he went on to the next round of the competition.
On hearing the news, the little boy in true extrovert style, faked a faint.
