Jim Parsons, who plays uber-geek Sheldon Cooper on the hit comedy show, has quietly come out of the closet in a profile published in the New York Times.
Nope, he hadn't already officially come out.
The 39-year-old is described in the profile as "gay and in a 10-year relationship".
Jim recently starred in the Broadway play The Normal Heart, about gay men dying of AIDS in New York in the '80s.
The New York Times writes, "The Normal Heart resonated with him on a few levels: Mr. Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment, he said."
